What BAFI qualifications can offer YOU?
The British Association of Fitness Instructors – BAFI, provides a diverse and comprehensive range of health and fitness qualifications that encompass industry needs across the whole spectrum which is required in today’s demanding and challenging world. This ensures that all current and aspiring Fitness Practitioners will always possess the required skills and qualifications, currently demanded within the industry which will further enhance their employment status, career development and promotional opportunities. All BAFI qualifications are matched to current industry needs ensuring they will always remain applicable and valued within the ever-changing needs of the health and fitness fraternity.

All Awards have been structured and designed in accordance with the appropriate NVQ Level criteria which means that much of the ‘course-content’ can, in specific circumstances, be used as documental verification for purposes of providing evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD). Furthermore, many aspects of the syllabus can provide supportive portfolio evidence which can be produced for possible exemptions - by way of Accredited Prior Learning (APL). Equally important, given the various levels of academic attainment of the various awards, no candidate is ever limited or restricted in any one confined area of expertise but can advance to the more advanced ‘Graduate Award’ which has been structured to provide an educational pathway into further and higher education. This qualification which has the added advantage of being linked to include a BAFI vocational Award, is likely to attract 30 credits once officially validated by the respective university towards a Sport Science Degree
